Homegrown Babies and Childbirth Education
with Chama Woydak, LCCE, HBCE, CD(DONA)

Whether you're a first-time or experienced parent, alone or with a partner, striving to have a VBAC, water, or unmedicated birth, these classes will enrich your knowledge not only of childbirth but of your relationships: to your partner, your care provider, and yourself.

You'll learn how to address your fears, use hands-on labor coping and support techniques, make informed decisions, and honor your pregnancy as a rite of passage.

Cost:

Self Pay: $165 plus $20 registration materials fee.

$20 discount for payment in full at the time of registration.

Medicaid: Accepted as payment plus five hours of uncovered class content: $55

Materials Fee: $20

Total cost for Medicaid recipients: $75

NC Pregnancy Medicaid covers 10 hours of basic childbirth education. Beginning with Birth has an additional five hours of none Medicaid covered curriculum and a non-covered class materials/registration fee. The five hours of uncovered class content and the materials fee are considered an out of pocket expense for Medicaid recipients. This is billed to you at an hourly rate of $11 and a one time $20 materials fee. The total cost of the series after Medicaid reimbursement is $75. This is due at the time of registration.
