Meet Our Team

We want you to feel comfortable with your Family to Family staff and physicians and understand how we work together as a team to support you. We invite you to meet our team below and get to know us by name and face.

Our support staff is an integral part of the care that you receive here. They work closely with you to answer all basic questions, coordinate referrals, schedule appointments, order labs, process medication refills, orient you to the practice, triage urgent care calls and more! Working closely with our physicians, they are here to support and assist you with any needs, questions or concerns that you might have.

Lisa Lichtig, MD

Calling upon our training and life experience, My husband and I opened Family and Family in September 1999 as a place for you and your family. A place you can come with your health concerns and feel safe and at home, listened to and cared for. A place where you can receive care from a variety of holistic medical doctors or attend classes that support health and well being. A place where possibilities and choices exist.

Susan Bradt, MD

I am honored by the role my patients allow me to play in helping bring health and healing into their lives. I hold a Medical Doctorate from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and am board-certified in Family Practice as well as Integrative Holistic Medicine. I have additional training in functional medicine and nutrition. My interest in integrative and holistic medicine stems from my innate trust that our bodies generally have an amazing ability to heal themselves if they are given the support they need.

Patrick Hanaway, MD

I am a board-certified family physician with a medical degree from Washington University and residency training at the University of New Mexico. I am a past President of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine and co-founded Family to Family: Your Home for Whole Family Health with my wife in Asheville, NC. As an initiated Marakame (Shaman) by the Huichol people in the Sierra Madres of central Mexico, I incorporate these healing approaches in my clinical practice.
